YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Q WHAT IS THE PRODUCTION RATE?
Our extrusion line operates at speeds of 50 fpm to 150 fpm, with a polymer consumption rate of 5 lbs./hr. to 25 lbs./hr., depending on tubing dimensions.
Q HOW DOES THE LINE MEET MEDICAL INDUSTRY REQUIREMENTS?
Our system is engineered for tight tolerances and high efficiency. The compact 3 ft cooling tank optimizes cleanroom space while minimizing scrap. Additionally, the RO water filtration system ensures ultra-pure water that meets both U.S. and European endotoxin standards.
Q HOW QUICKLY CAN I SET UP THE EXTRUSION LINE?
Once delivered, the system can be assembled and operational within 1-2 days, provided all utilities are in place.
Q WHAT TRAINING DO YOU OFFER?
Operators can enroll in our Extrusion Master Certification™ program, a 5-day intensive training that covers:
3 days of classroom instruction - Polymer science, material drying, tooling, quality control, and process validation.
1 day of hands-on training - Applying advanced Scientific Extrusion™ techniques.
1 final exam - An 80% pass rate is required for certification.
Q HOW MANY OPERATORS ARE REQUIRED?
While one technician can operate the system, we recommend two for optimal efficiency.
